It’s not what you think. We were to post today, really, everything was in place and then Biko, somehow found himself, neck-deep in the woods of Rusizi, a small town on the border of DRC. There’s no strong network where he is, he can’t tether using his MTN, because of said woods, and the poor sod had to scale up a tree just to relay the information. We are now resorting to communicating with ravens and smoke signals. So, please put down the torches and rakes, Cliff The Tall, this is not a Walpurgis Night.
See you kesho? 10 AM?
On Behalf of The Capo,
yes first to comment
We shall wait. Stay safe Biko
I had to confirm with my calendar if today was really Tuesday!
Can he climb up a taller tree instead and post today’s read?
Or send the raven to Eddie with the note, then Eddie updates
you know right!!!!!!
Kesho ni siku na twaomba Mola atufikishe kule. Thanks for the heads-up.
I went from 100 to zero real quick.
Eddie, I purpose to make patience my arrow. Tomorrow then. Until.
The network of SAFARICOM/MTN is perfect here in RUSIZI—What the hell are you talking about, nigga didn’t do his homework …hahhaha
Make it 10:30 . I have a zoom till then. Thanks
Ah! We can’t wait for you.
We’ve read Biko’s reasons. What’s yours, Eddie? Are you his saddle bag or potter kule Goma? Anywho, we wait.
Biko email notifications ,gives me higher cloud 9 feeling
It is well
Eddie you’d have simply jotted down something to calm our nerves. Ata kama ingekuwa a soft life “mimi ni baby boy” post. We’d have read it, as Biko tries his hand at morse code, and blows smoke from DRC.
Next Tuesday it is then.
I agree, you had one job to outshine the master, Eddie!
Eddie, you should have given us a make up story.
Will be waiting ..
Stay taliban folks…..
We are not boarding!
Go up the post and post! The gods of DRC aren’t happy with big foreheads. The godzilla type…
Send the Tweet bird instead of the Ravens. Please…
Eddie, you just called your boss a poor sod. I can see that you have a very good boss.
Isn’t this how people lose their jobs? How dare you call your boss a poor sod? You Eddy?
I thought the phrase “poor sod” was just an expression of sympathy no?
Eddy, make up sorry stories like how the dust has finally settled in kanairo after the night showers……
It’s always a delight to find first to comment. Even today Brian was there it made me chuckle.
But why….. After the notification, I decided to complete a few errands then settle down to read about the ”Gang” with zero interruption. ♂️♂️♂️
Eddie a few more paragraphs at least.
Pass by here and cool your anger: https://himizaafrika.com/deadbeat-turtles/ 🙂
ha ha ha very funny
Hahah I am not sure why these few lines are funny to me. The poor sod is forgiven.
Ironically he is posting on instagram
And i’m hungrily feasting on the little he’s giving us on there.
What a coincidence – today my tribe is all about gratitude for technology!!!
I had forgotten what a broken heart felt like. Good thing there’s the option of tomorrow. I can wait.
Oh the poor sod! Will be here kesho.
Haha. Will be waiting…
I really needed this…. tomorrow it is!
Too bad. My patience of a cobra comes in handy.
Not Funny, just settled with my lunch to read a great story and blah, even the lunch tastes the same
Ha ha ha ha ha ha haha hahaha aaaaaa!
You should see how I was seated comfortably read to enjoy the read.
It’s alright tomorrow will come
I hope there were no taller trees in Rusizi.
The moment I saw the word “gang’ I knew there would be no story……
Haki Eddie Ashioya. You have played me a good one. Okay, we shall await till the ravens and smoke signals phase ends
hahahaha…………over to you in studio.
This man was last in Somaliland just a week ago, and now he’s tracing our Bantu origins, despite him being a River-Lake Nilote? What next, Nile Delta? We want the Somaliland story. Wishing the sojourner all the best in his travels.
What is usually this nonsense of 1st to comment? Are you teenagers?
The title itself got me excited. I was starting to imagine how Biko had managed to write about us, the gang, who are faceless to him. Then I open and it’s just a paragraph, and it’s Eddie
I had set apart special time for today’s post.
Did he contact papa freddie before leaving for a gallon of foundation? I hear the Congolese prefer caramel to chocolate
Hahaha. I hear you loud and clear. Also, I absolutely enjoyed last week’s read Bwana Eddie. It was amazing!
Patience, Eddie, is a virtue that sometimes runs out. For your sake, however, tell Biko I shall bite my tongue.
Pls just go
Biko, you better be through with the smoke signals, drum beats and ravens mbikos le gang ain’t laughing.
10am it is!
Eddie, awesome read last week, should have pulled another yesterday too.
I will be patient
Haha! that’s hilarious. But of course I can wait for his loyal majesty
Biko! should we talk with the passport guys to take away your passport since umeanza kutuzoea and not in a good way anyway hope you’re staying safe……..Eddie a few more paragraphs would have been really awesome ama you were meeting with akina Brayo and Ndugu hahahah
Can’t he fashion the smokes; as an article…
I had jumped into this with energy. Then patience did that thing
Its already kesho. And its past 10AM. Biko?
Hope the wait won’t be long enough…
Has Biko not scaled the trees this morning?
It’s is 11:42 on Wednesday….I am still waiting .Me and a few others .
Chocolate man is in my neck of the woods! And yeah, some parts of Rusizi are hella remote. We wait.
And the weiting game continues….
Was it 10AM Kenyan time or Congo time?
Ati what? Eddie you and Biko sasa mko na jokes.
Do you know I had saved this post for my long commute to work.
Imagine my surprise.
Eddie you redeemed yourself with last week’s wonderful post so you are forgiven..
As for your mentor, it is a few minutes to 10am hopefully he is climbing up that tree na hata shuka mpaka he “relays” the story na hiyo network ya pata potea.
Saved this article for today, but guess what… Anyway we move on as we wait for Biko to get out of the woods.
I saw this coming, not surprised at all.
I’m in denial! Panda juu ya Miti next time Biko.
Will wait! #whattheheck.
Isn’t Rusizi in Rwanda, Biko?
